I bought two packs of three pair each and washed them before wearing. The heels on these socks started pilling up and wearing through the first time that I wore them! I had to throw out two pair as ruined after the first wearing and the others are not far behind- leaving a trail of lint on the carpet from the dresser to the chair. I still have my older socks- they are getting a bit worn after five years, but look better than the new ones."
